Description: The University of South Florida Recreation Center is a newly expanded multi-sport facility located in north Tampa on the campus of the University of South Florida. Spanning over 28,000 square feet of dedicated fitness space and over 180,000 square feet total, the recreation center offers a wealth of space and activities. This includes: 5 four-walled indoor racquetball/handball courts, two gymnasiums, which can host badminton, basketball, and volleyball contests, an indoor suspended track, a squash court and an indoor, heated pool. In addition, the USF Campus Recreation Center offers group fitness classes, equipment check out, daily use lockers, and expansive cardio and fitness floors with brand new equipment. There is also a martial arts mat room where karate, self-defense and other martial arts classes are held. For convenience the Recreation Center also houses numerous locker room facilities.

USF Campus Recreation also maintains outdoor facilities for use by USF students, faculty, staff, and other affiliate members. These facilities include 13 football and soccer fields, an outdoor pool and lounge area, two softball fields, 16 tennis courts, a 1.2-mile shaded running trail and Riverfront Park.
