TAMPA BAY SNEAKER SOIREE
The annual Tampa Bay Sneaker Soiree, hosted by the Tampa Bay Sports Commission, is Tampa Bay’s premier, annual “off-the-field” event. The Soiree aims to recognize a year’s worth of local sports properties’ on and off-field achievements while commemorating leaders and key influencers throughout the Bay Area.
Three awards spotlight the night. The Freddie Solomon Moral Courage Award is given to a person who shows tremendous courage in the face of adversity. The Tom McEwen Community Advocate Award is presented to a person or group of people in recognition of their outstanding support and advocacy of sports in Tampa Bay, and the Lee Roy Selmon Lifetime Achievement Award is bestowed upon an individual(s) who demonstrates a lifetime’s worth of incredible support for the Tampa Bay sports community.
