New Tampa Community Park

Description: The 40-acre park was made possible through an agreement between the City of Tampa and the School District of Hillsborough County. The park has four softball fields, five soccer fields, one baseball field, a concession stand and restrooms and is located adjacent to Freedom High School and Liberty Middle School. The Recreation Center has a 12,500 square-foot gymnastics area, which includes a gymnastic pit, tumbling strip, and full apparatus gymnastic equipment for all competitive Olympic events. The facility also has a large multipurpose room that can be divided into two separate rooms, a snack bar and gymnastic viewing area as well as a covered deck and a skate park.
