More than 15,000 Fans Turn Out in Tampa Bay for 12th Premier League Mornings Live Fan Festival
Two-Day Celebration at Armature Works Treats Fans to Premier League Matchday Experience Featuring Legendary Players, NBC Sports Broadcast Team, Mascots, Fan Activations and More
NEW YORK, April 22, 2026 – The Premier League and NBC Sports brought a sports weekend to remember to Tampa Bay on Saturday, April 18, and Sunday, April 19. More than 15,000 fans attended the 12th Premier League Mornings Live fan festival, run in partnership with Visit Tampa Bay and the Tampa Bay Sports Commission, and held at Armature Works along the Tampa Riverwalk.
Fans attending the free, two-day event were treated to an action-packed weekend celebrating the best of Premier League culture, as the crowd gathered to watch live broadcasts of matches alongside fellow supporters, meet Premier League club ambassadors, and take photos with club mascots and the Premier League Trophy.
Over the course of the weekend, fans were treated to nine matches, including the exciting final fixture of the weekend between the current top two clubs in the Premier League table: Manchester City and Arsenal. Manchester City earned the win and a crucial three points in the race for the Premier League title.
Throughout the festival, fans enjoyed a full lineup of interactive Premier League partner activations—marking the highest number of clubs and partners ever featured at a Premier League Mornings Live event. From Barclays’ claw machine and the chance to have a pint of Guinness featuring a club crest, to EAFC 26 gaming stations, Avery Dennison jersey customization, PUMA’s mini pitch, and a virtual reality experience at Rezzil, there was something for everyone.
This Fan Fest also included first‑time activations from Football Manager and Coca‑Cola, giving fans the chance to take on a one‑minute manager challenge and walk away with a mini Coca-Cola can customized with their favorite U.S. city name.
Additionally, a number of Premier League clubs delivered custom fan activations, including AFC Bournemouth — nicknamed the Cherries — who served up cherry ice cream, Brentford who hosted a long throw challenge, and Chelsea who offered fans the chance to win a trip to the UK.
NBC Sports’ Premier League Mornings team of Rebecca Lowe, Robbie Earle, Robbie Mustoe, and Tim Howard delivered coverage and insight live on broadcast from Armature Works with special appearances from a star-studded line-up of Premier League club ambassadors.
Among the former Premier League stars in attendance were the competition’s all-time leading goal scorer, Alan Shearer, Arsenal striker Theo Walcott, Manchester United defender Wes Brown, and Liverpool goalkeeper David James – all of whom have earned World Cup caps for England.
Alan Shearer said: “It has been an amazing weekend, full of energy, a great atmosphere, and a wonderful place in Tampa Bay. This is the eighth fan festival I have been to and I think it has been the best event yet.”
Current injured first-team Premier League players to make the trip to Tampa Bay included Brentford’s Fabio Carvalho and Antoni Milambo, and Brighton & Hove Albion’s Adam Webster.
Other Premier League club ambassadors at the fan festival included James Chester (Aston Villa), Steve Fletcher (AFC Bournemouth), Marcus Gayle (Brentford), Glenn Murray (Brighton & Hove Albion), George Boyd (Burnley), Stuart Dallas (Leeds United), Warren Barton (Newcastle United) Kevin Phillips (Sunderland), and Ryan Bennett (Wolverhampton Wanderers).
Theo Walcott added: “This has been my first experience of Premier League Mornings Live and honestly, it’s been incredible. I think the fans here in Tampa Bay have been fantastic and it has been a pleasure to meet so many of them this weekend at Armature Works.”
The event also saw an analyst for NBC Sports’ Premier League coverage and former Premier League and U.S. Men’s National Team goalkeeper, Tim Howard, presented with his milestone award for reaching 300 Premier League appearances.
Prior to this weekend, Premier League Mornings Live has been held in Kansas City, Chicago, Nashville, Washington D.C., New York, Boston, Austin, Miami Beach, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and Orlando.
