Tampa Bay Sports Commission and Grow Financial Continue Long-Standing Partnership
Grow Financial Named Official Partner of the “Setting the Standard - GROWing the Game” Initiative
TAMPA, FL – The Tampa Bay Sports Commission (TBSC) and Grow Financial Federal Credit Union have announced an extension to their long-standing partnership, as the two organizations aim to support and enhance the TBSC’s “Setting the Standard - GROWing the Game” initiative. It was announced recently by TBSC Executive Director, Lanness Robinson, and Grow Financial’s VP of Marketing, Rebecca Phaup.
The structure of the partnership will enhance multiple organizational programs, including the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) youth sports programming and exposure events, Press Pass, the Beyond Series, and Replay Tampa Bay, each of which directly impacts underserved communities and the next generation of future leaders.
With a mission rooted in excellence, the TBSC is setting the standard while GROWing the game with purpose and precision. Through a strategic partnership with the Grow Financial team, the initiative aims to expand accessibility and experiences to all in the community, while positively impacting grassroots programs and outcomes across Hillsborough County.
With Grow Financial and the TBSC’s passion supporting the initiative, the goal will be to champion innovation, cultivate opportunity, and reinvest in Tampa Bay's youth—ensuring a legacy that lasts well beyond the final whistle.
Grow Financial will also be a contributing member of the annual Tampa Bay Sneaker Soiree. “We’re here to serve people in the communities we call home,” said Rebecca Phaup, VP of Marketing at Grow Financial. “Partnering with the Tampa Bay Sports Commission allows us to support programs that give young people access to sports, mentorship and experiences that help them grow both on and off the field. We’re proud to continue investing in initiatives that make a meaningful difference to the next generation and create lasting impact in our community.”
“Grow Financial has been a longtime supporter of our mission, vision, and goals at the Tampa Bay Sports Commission (TBSC),” said Lanness Robinson, Executive Director of the TBSC. “With this renewed partnership and direction, we are excited to have them join us as major contributors for all our local youth sports events, initiatives, and much more. The team at Grow Financial has always brought a collaborative spirit to the partnership, and we know that our community’s youth will only benefit from this impactful relationship. We couldn’t be more excited to continue this alliance.”
