Soccer Fans Converge On Tampa Bay Times Forum for U.S. Soccer Watch Party

TAMPA, FL. – The Tampa Bay Sports Commission, in conjunction with the Tampa Bay Times Forum, Tampa Downtown Partnership and the American Outlaws - Tampa Chapter, will host a free United States Men’s Soccer watch party on Tuesday, September 10, as the U.S. Men’s National Team challenges Mexico at sold out Columbus Crew Stadium in Columbus, OH.  

The complimentary event will be held on the Tampa Bay Times Forum West Plaza located outside the main entrance of the venue, and will feature a pre-event roundtable discussion with members of the Tampa Bay Rowdies and USF Men’s Soccer teams (7:00 p.m.-7:45 p.m.). The ESPN televised, World Cup Qualifier will kickoff at 8:00 p.m.

While limited seating will be available, spectators are encouraged to bring their own blankets or chairs. In addition, a cash bar and concessions will be available throughout the event. No outside coolers will be permitted. 

Fans are encouraged to use the hashtag #SoccerTampaBay in their social media conversations leading up to, and during the event.
