Berkeley and Stewards Rowers Contribute!

TAMPA, Fla. - High Performance Competitors from The Stewards Foundation, Berkeley Prep and North Orlando Rowing combined forces to dominate the Junior Rowing events at The Halifax Regatta in Daytona Beach this past weekend. The Regatta featured rowers from Three (3) States and included thirty (30) Clubs and three hundred four (304) competitors.

Outstanding team and individual performances were achieved by the entire squad that included outstanding individual and team performances by Berkeley Prep’s Holly Messer, Peter Tirella and Alex Hill  and Stewards;  Vincent Alexander, Beau Armstrong, Charley Wind, and Courtney Scheifer, The medal winning team coxswains included Stewards’ Megan Double and Ellen Parmley...

According to Stewards Head Coach Dave Sparker “The Stewards relationship with the Berkeley and the North Orlando Rowing Association has added skilled and highly conditioned athletes to our high performance program”.  Stewards President, Coach Tom Feaster, High Performance Director for the Berkeley Crew added “I am so proud of the direction that Coach Spraker is taking our Crew. All of these are a credit to their parents and our program.”
