TAMPA, Fla. - The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) is pleased to announce that GSC and the GSC CORE line of bats will be working directly with FCA starting with the ALL-STARS/Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team in FCA’s God and Country Weekend games, January 13 and 15, 2012 in Plant City, Fla.
Mr. Bill Gateley of GSC Bats has been instrumental in forging this new relationship and planning for future endeavors. “I am excited about the opportunity of my company working with the FCA. The FCA mirrors our mission; that inside the softball world, we help in producing the best faith-based athletes as possible,” said Mr. Gateley.
“Through the generosity of GSC, a percentage of bat sales will be donated to help us support camps, clinics, tournaments, coaches’ education, and special events,” said Bob Pinto, National Director of FCA Softball National Ministry.
GSC is also donating the bats that some of the FCA ALL-STARS will be swinging during the God and Country Games. The best of the softball world, like Olympians Jennie Finch, Dot Richardson, and Leah Amico, PFX Tour pros and men hall of “famers,” will be playing in these games. GSC has designed this new bat to create the best built premier performance bat. The bat is 100% MADE IN AMERICA in Charleston, S.C. and bears the motto: “God Bless America.”
