TAMPA, Fla. - The Tampa Bay Sports Commission (TBSC), Sun Sports and Florida Sports Networks will once again host the Florida Sports Writers Association (FSWA)College Football Media Days on July 17-18, 2008.
This two-day event will be held at the Tampa Marriot Waterside Hotel & Marina in downtown Tampa and will give FSWA members the opportunity to meet and interact with some of Florida’s top university head football coaches for insight about the upcoming season!
“We are looking forward to another great FSWA College Football Media Days,” said Rob Higgins, executive director of the TBSC. “In addition to showcasing the Tampa Bay area to FSWA members and delegates, this opportunity allows us to continue to build on our current relationships with Florida’s top head collegiate football coaches.”
The University of Florida’s Urban Meyer, the University of
Miami’s Randy Shannon, the University of South
Florida’s Jim Leavitt and many others will be featured on
July 17. The following day, Jacksonville University’s Kerwin
Bell, Florida International University’s Mario Cristobal and
Florida State University’s Bobby Bowden will be just
three of the many head football coaches featured.
